Simply Smiles' fundraising efficiency, calculated as Total Fundraising Expenses divided by (Contributions + In-kind Supplies/Materials), = 18.5%. The American Institute of Philanthropy's CharityWatch indicates 35% is reasonable for most charitable organizations.
